That theory doesn't hold up.
if you look at the tracker, there are bunch of people in late June, who received request for additional documents.
Line 690 for example, application arrived on June 27, was contacted today for more forms.
So what does this mean?
They are almost done checking all applications for completeness but just not updating us? or are they randomly grabbing applications from big bag, marked "June arrivals"?
I can understand they maybe purposely delaying it if nobody is contacted after Jun 15th.....
Need all of your kind advice. My dad just went through a brain surgery in India today dated Nov 7th and we got the biometric plus medical request for both my mom and dad today. They have to finish the medical and biometric by Dec 6th.
My dad is not in a condition to do this as he needs 3 months to get back to normal and my mom is taking care of him. May I ask what should i do to extend the timeline for them so that they get more time to do the medical and biometric.
Advice on what to do and what process to follow will be highly appreciated. Thanks in advance
Hi, Is anything stopping us from getting PCC ahead of the request from CIC? I understand it has a validity but if we are willing to take the risk of doing it ahead of request from CIC based on the estimate from tracker, can we do it in Toronto? Does BLS require any letter from CIC to do it?
Actually my parents are very old and they are with me here in Toronto , they will be flying back to home country by year end. Based on tracker I estimate PCC by Jan/Feb time frame. I want to do the PCC here for them and avoid the hassle of them taking this task in home country by their own in an old age.
I have found in the tracker/tab some links:
It’s too late for 2018, but anybody who doesn’t have enough income to meet the low income cutoff can cash in their RRSP’s. It counts as income. We did it for all 3 years and we were approved as a sponsor. This is the reason we only sent in our SIN instead of the NOA. Remember you must do this before the year end.
My parents did medical examination 23 Sep and Doctor uploaded on 25 Sept. There is no any feedback in mycic and Ecase yet. It has taken six weeks and still waiting for update.
I am wondering if anyone has a similar experience?
Any responses or suggestions would be highly appreciated. Thank you.

CIC agent replied they only find my mother's result and don't have my father's result. Then I double confirmed with my doctor and doctor gave me a report to show they has uploaded it to CIC medical system. I don't mind to do additional medical examination if need , but I just worry if CIC exactly received my father's report or not. I don't know how to move on.
I submitted yesterday via E-Mail. What all did you submit as proof as I could not find anything with my Mother's name on it except for the cancelled Indian Passport, which luckily had the complete names of both parents.
I submitted my application on May 17th and received my AOR but since then it has been in process since September 11th according to eCAS. Looks like other Mississauga applications are moving along.
Does this mean that my sponsorship application is still not approved?
Also, I have linked the sponsorship application to myCIC using my parents details (primary applicant details). Has anyone here linked the application as a sponsor too? Does it need to be linked as a sponsor AND primary applicant separately?
@robertp please SUBJECT: USE OF REPRESENTATIVE AND LINKING OF APPLICATION BY PRINCIPAL APPLICANT
Please can any one answer this, Can principal applicant link the application on mycic account even after appointing sponsor as representative (as they say that all communication will go to sponsor after submitting use of representative form). Highly appreciate your input/experience. Thanks
