Someone is editing my information on the Google Sheets document. My notes have been changed to "DO NOT CHANGE MY INFORMATION AGAIN. THANK YOU SO MUCH." and someone filled out information that my background check has begun. It HAS NOT begun. Why is someone editing my information?! Not cool.

Lol. I guess someone is not that great at using excel. That’s annoying though. Hope no one changes it again.

My background check has started...but I didn’t get a request. My GCkey was simply updated to show it’s begun.

My background checks shows Not applicable. I don’t know why!

Submitted on May 2. Yes, medical req received mid Sep, passed already.

I’d take any change to mean something is happening in the background. Perhaps an immigration officer is working on your file....it will be something good I’m sure!

Hi,
I'm new to this thread! Applying with my common law partner. Here is my timeline...

App Received: May 22
OWP returned (missed a fee, oops!): August 20
OWP re sent: September 3
Medical Requested: September 28
Medical Completed: October 15
Background check in progress!
No AIP yet for either myself or my sponsor.

I am still unable to link and view the status of my OWP and after calling they were unable to see it in the system either? From reading through this thread that doesn't seem uncommon. I'm guessing since it got put to the bottom of the pile again, they just haven't opened it yet. Anyone else in a similar situation?

They started processing my wife's background check today!! Here's our updated timeline:

Delivered: May 31st
AOR: July 5th
OWP linked: September 6th
OWP approved: September 18th
Medical request: October 17th
Medical exam: October 21st
Background check: October 24th

We're still waiting on the medical approval, but it's nice to see that things are happening more frequently now!!
