Parents and Grandparents Sponsorship 2019

Hi My parents got pcc and IMM 5669 and birth certificate requested. When I click the upload documents link, it shows the required documents submitted only under principal applicant (father) only.. but there are two places to for PCC to upload and Schedule A to upload.. I am confused.. under my mom's name there is no link to upload any documents..but I have place to upload my mom's document under dad's name..is it normal?

other question is they are asking the expiry date of PCC? is that 1 year or 6 months? please advice me. thanks

Wow when did you call? I called yesterday and still no sign of my documents

I called yesterday too. But my CIC doesn’t reflect that they received the document anyways

I was about to order the notes, but it says if you are doing it under the privacy act, you can only do it for a person who is PR, citizen or currently residing in Canada. But my parents are back home.
Also, i got confused now, in requester’s info its my info and in applicant, PA’s info or again mine?
As my application is stuck in process for the sponsorship part. Getting confused now, I have got the consent (inn5744) signed by parents though.

And one more question, do they acknowledge that our request has been accepted by them?

1- since u have consent letter signed and use of representative submitted too (if I'm not wrong) then u can apply for GCMS notes. So u can apply cause u r Canadian.
2-since u r applying for your file so u can add ur info on both sides I.e. requester and applicant info but for file number u still need to use ur parents file number.
3- they will only send u auto confirmation email for request but they don't tell if they have accepted ur request.

I wanted to order Gcms notes.
I'm confused do I need the signed consent form IMM5742 by parents and depandant? Or I have to reqeust it on my own as my file is stuck in process for almost 2 months now and SA is delayed.

Can someone please share step by step guide to order gcms notes.

1-yes, u need signed consents form from all as they are applicants. And u also need use of representative form to order gcms notes otherwise they might not issue u gcms notes. And if ur parents are in Canada then u can fill form pretending ur parents and dependents are requesting gcms notes.

In what type of record would you like to request, there is no option of sponsorship or may I didn’t find it.
There are few other options such as permanent residence etc
How do we select sponsorship?

You will select family class file and then 2nd question will be asked if u want sponsorship file or PA file

For those who already received their medical, police clearance, and biometrics requests, how much time do they usually give to submit the medical, PCC and biometrics? We haven't received the request letter yet but we are just preparing. Thank you

Approximately How long it takes to reflect on my CIC that the additionals documents have been received.?
It's been 2 weeks since i have sent them the documents via e-mail and it still says :

• We need additional documents to continue processing your application. We will send you a message with more details.

Mine changed in about two weeks to "We are reviewing documents you provided".

If her supervisa is not expired yet she can come back here without applying for supervisa again since it is a multiple entry visa. If you’re interested to apply to sponsor her you must wait for the announcement on CIC website in regards with the instruction and qualification to apply. To get some idea you can checkout CIC website too but it may be different again next year.

If her supervisa is still valid then she only has to buy a valid health insurance every time she comes to Canada if the old one is expired. But if you are asking about sponsoring your mom for immigration then you have to wait until IRCC announces new rules/forms for parents and grandparents sponsorship end of this year or early next year.

CPC-Mississauga does not have an automatic reply set up for that email address.
As long as you send the docs to the correct email address and included PGP-APR in the subject line, I wouldn't worry. We are all in the same situation; a few users received DM for PR application after sending the requested docs to that email address.

Do we need to mail in the original police certificate? or email is fine. Thanks!
