COPR is a hard copy. they dont email that. Yes. Everything will be in the envelope, passport with visa, COPR ect.

Oh I see.
No, but I received Pre-arrival services letter again from CPC-Ottawa though. No idea what is happening. I did not have time to call them today. They twitted: Hold on to your questions until 15 OCT as we are not responding questions between 12-14 Oct. Let's see.

Waiting is the only option. When the return tracker gets activated, that’s when we wil know..

you do need to fill out a goods to follow form at the time of landing. This is mainly for jewelry and other movable assets. As far as property, shares and cash is concerned, you have to declare it in your IT returns

For those of you who were requested to submit parent's CV, service details, travel details etc. due to govt. employment - did this delay the BGC process much? I submitted these docs last week to Mississauga and for now it just shows as "additional documents uploaded" in cic account. Just wondering how long it might take to get to 'Decision Made' and PPR...

Did you submitted the govt job? was it for Police job or something else?

For my it was for police job and still waiting? not sure how ling it will take. I know someone whos father was on govt job (Not police) got visa couple of weeks before,

Please share if you were asked for police job details.

My parents were not in police but in normal desk jobs under government. Hope bgc won’t take too long now...

It was a government job but not a police job. He was a teacher! I am assuming because of the police job your file’s background check is taking longer. I hope you hear back soon.

Just a note that they usually don’t even update the status in the file. We have submitted my parents passport to Turkey and they have sent it back to our VAC office but the GC key is still showing “reviewing background check”. And ECAS is showing DM.
According to what I have read here, only applicants that have submitted their passport to Ottawa the status have changed after passports were ready for pick up.
Just regularly check ECAS as well.

It's TRUE...they asked additional docs like cv and travel history for my parents on sept 12. I uploaded them on sep 13....but gc key still says they need additional docs

Hey, did they or you take their passports in person? or you give it to the agencies to take it there and get the visas? Is VAC in Turkey attaching the PPR into their passport?

they send pre-arrival automatically so basically it means nothing

It does mean something, it means that the PA's eligibility is passed. According GCMS notes whoever has passed eligibility gets Pre Arrival... Most people who get pre arrival get PPR. So, why would it mean nothing?
