When did you upload additional documents and how long did it take for the status to change to "we are reviewing the additional documents..." ? I uploaded docs almost 2 weeks back and still showing as "the documents you provided have been uploaded".
Do you need to do declaration of assets back home of what you will be bringing to canada at a later date?
is there a particular form to fill out or some letter needed.
Also for the house owned back home, how do you declare on landing..
Could someone please help guiding on it.
We will be flagpoling as they are here, once the passports are back from Ottawa.. so want to keep everything ready..

Do not think it matters where they are and on what visa. You should submit what is required and they will guide you through process. Once all approved and they have the passports back in their hands, if your parents are here, they can go to the border to enter Canada or make an appointment to do an in-land entry at an office.
Question about someone i know:
applied May 2018, Origin, Pakistan through London visa office, received their medical request this month (Oct/19) as well as request of police certificate and birth certificate, not sure why they asked for BC, they had already submitted initially with the application. Question is if everything goes okay, how long would it take to get passport request?
I just got confirmation of appointment for my Mom's landing at IRCC in Etobicoke. We emailed the request for an interview appointment on Sept. 9th (same day we got the COPR from Ottawa) and got the email confirming her interview at IRCC Etobicoke on Sept. 23, 2019. Next week my mom will be a Permanent Landed Immigrant. Yeah !!! Thank you to everyone who was helping answer my questions and good luck to everyone who is in the process of getting their applications finalized.
My parents received PPR on Sep 25. They are instructed to send their passports to Ottawa. Given that they are currently residing outside of Canada, they can not send their passport to Ottawa at this point in time. I have contacted the cic through web form. However, I have not yet heard back from them. Does anyone have a similar experience? Do you know what will happen now?
@bombomdha i am 2 weeks behind you.. mine were delivered Oct 8 to Ottawa. I am just getting prepped up, so that any docs if needed can be arranged before hand...
Any update on your end? Did it get shipped out to you already?

you do need to fill out a goods to follow form at the time of landing. This is mainly for jewelry and other movable assets. As far as property, shares and cash is concerned, you have to declare it in your IT returns

Oh I see.
No, but I received Pre-arrival services letter again from CPC-Ottawa though. No idea what is happening. I did not have time to call them today. They twitted: Hold on to your questions until 15 OCT as we are not responding questions between 12-14 Oct. Let's see.
Hi
My Dad is here on a visit visa and my mom(DEPENDENT) is in India . We got PPR yesterday with instructions to submit passports to New Delhi through VFS within 30 days. There is an additional statement saying that if PA and all dependents are in canada it can be submitted to CPC Ottawa.
Wondering if anyone has submitted PPR for PA in Canada and dependents in a different country ?
Thanks
I tried calling the IRCC toll free number to speak to an agent. As they are always busy, I did not get the opportunity to speak to anyone. They've some messages saved though: 1) that they have not started processing apps received after 21st Nov. 2018 and 2) that they do hope to finalize most apps in 12 months!
Their response to the web-form enquiry I submitted a few weeks ago was absolutely useless. I was thinking of posting a written letter to CPC missisauga. Has anyone done this before?
