I sent two emails. One with subject of ONLY "PGP-APR" and another with "PGP-APR and application number". I hope they pick one of it.
Dilemma with emails is you will never get acknowledgement so you never know when they will pick and update myCIC.
Its only a waiting game.

I am thinking what will be the mental condition of your CO when he will get the first e-mail, upload everything to the server and may be 2-3 days later will get the 2nd e-mail. He now have to figure out what to do with the files he uploaded in the first time. Think how much time he have to waste to figure out what is what now.

Hi everyone,
Got couple of questions for Ecas status and linking paper application.
1) do we need to check Ecas status seperatly everyday for sponsor and primary applicant?
2) I am the representative. I have linked paper application to sponsor account. Do we need to link paper application to primary applicant account too? Or all the updates can be received on sponsor account?

1. No. Until SA - you can login under sponsor, after that you can check under PA
2. Either is ok

Is no news, good news? Sent the application in mid June and no AOR or they're not asking for any forms or w/e.....

The latest eCas activated for June 13th file. There are many from end of May, early June still waiting for an eCas update.

My parents don’t have birth certificate, Affidavit, and school certificates. All i have is Voter card and Aadhar card.

My question is since they are here in Canada from almost 2 years can i make the affidavit here and would it be valid? Or can i just submit Voter card and Aadhar card?

I am assuming you are from India?

You can get an affidavit in "lieu of the birth certificate" from a Notary Public. You (PA) should provide an explanation letter of why you cannot provide any required document.

The way CO interprets this is still very vague. What is their visa status? Visitor? Super visa? You can ask via webform to waive it, but should have a back up plan.

Thanks. Their visa status is Visitor. They arrived in April, and 6 month is about to finish soon. They just submitted an extension application.

Do you think that the biometrics request might be because of the visitor visa status?

They will not waive it. Only parents under super visa, who are here for a longer period of time (or under visitor visa but staying for a longer period) got waiver so far I believe.

If so, you will get another PCC letter.

If this is the letter everyone got from CPC-M, then there will be no additional letter for PCC.

I got my bio around 8am MST today October 10th, also I checked my ECAS 10 min ago, both sides are "in process"
No Decision Made yet.
