GCMS shows 'Security Screening' and waiting... - let's gather here!

Anyone whose SS is longer than a year? Mine is in its 13th month.

I don't know when my SS started , but I am May 2018 AOR and everything was passed except security as per my GCMS notes which I got in Nov 2018. Still waiting.

Long time no post. How's everyone doing? Hang in there and don't lose hope. I held on and got it after more than 8 months! Just keep faith.

For me it has been more than 10 months I think. I haven't ordered any CBSA or CSIS notes as my consultant is not favor of it. But I am May 2018 AOR and everything except Security was passed in GCMS notes I got in Nov 2018.

Hey..just wondering is anyone here is SS and his/her application status is 'On Hold' ?
I have read many posts and forums, with many people waiting for different reasons, but no one in 'on hold' status recently.

Submitted on Feb 18th. Waiting ever since, no updates so far except from a msg from Ottawa stating "additional verification"

I received the same mail yesterday from ottawa stating "your file is under review and requires additional verification". My aor is 11 March 2019.
Did you get your ppr?

Finally completed my final interviewed and PR card in pending. Thanks for everyone's support and encourage. Hope the rest will get good news soon. Don't lose hope, if your EE is passed it would just be the matter of time. All the best.

I am waiting for next set of GCMS. The last ones were ordered end of May 2019 and it only shows 2 security activities under admissibility (me and wife).

LVO response on Aug 23:
"Please be advised, your file is currently undergoing necessary background checks. We are unable to provide you with a time frame as to when they will be complete. However, please note that no further action is required from you at this time. We will contact you once the checks are complete."

Eligibility was passed sometime in April (almost 6 months ago), so I am assuming I am in SS.

been frikking two years since i started the canadian immigration process. this sucks!

Did u write an email to your visa office? I also want to contact mine, Paris that it, but dunno how

Not yet. Still waiting and don't even know what's happening anymore. The entire process is undecipherable to me
