Yes it's really weird. I got a response from CIC that the additional documents (e.g. transcripts) has been received and transferred to the responsible officer. How many days after this message did you get update about your spouse's medical? Have you got any additional update on your application yet?
My eligibility seem to have followed following trail:
Not Started > Calculate > Calculation in Progress > Review required > Met
Criminality Activity states: In progress
Not started > In progress > RCMP Screening submitted > RCMP Screening batch sent > RCMP Fingerprint required > RCMP fingerprint requested
As per RCMP i uploaded it on 7/12/2019, I have only lived in Canada since i turned 18 and last 10 years. and no other police check was request.
Last note is from Case processing Agent, indicate a positive opinion on everything except for "Police Cert Requested at CIO remains outstanding(RCMP)". but the edocs indicate receival on 07/12/2019
I called IRCC and the customer service agent and they acknowledged the receipt of document on 07/12/2019 as well.
Does anyone else have any clue as to what is going on?
In a little bit of panic.@legalfalcon any opinion?

A week after I received a confirmation they received the documents I sent. I never got any update after that. So it has been almost 2 weeks.
I'm hoping we'll get an update soon just in case they'll ask for another medical. But I'm hoping it will be extended. I'm planning to call ircc by Friday if there's no update by then.
