It's so sad when I call her every morning and she ask and I tell her it's the same! If I told her it's a 2 year process from the get-go she wouldn't bother asking but Ircc is apparently processing other applicants super fast and few people are stuck

I hear you so much! I dread calling my mom too especially since my brother moved to Canada 2 weeks ago, she is also adjusting to living on her own which is a major change for her. I have tried my best and rest I leave to god! May all of us get some updates soon!

Usually the sponsor part is the easy part where every applicant knows their revenue and their status in canada so this approval should not be the big news, i think the second part is the tougher one where there is medicals and security checks to be passed. Are you doubting your eligbility to sposnor your parent ?

Yes 2nd part is harder so a couple of us are waiting to get the first part done. Especially with aged parents passing medical is critical. I am okay to wait, but just want medicals cleared.

Once the medical is done, how do I know that CIC received the emedical result? Will there be any update in myCIC or ECAS?

As for Biometric myCIC showed the new bio expiary date the same day the biometric was done.

But I don't know how to assure the medical is received? Do I have to send the emedical receipt to CIC through webform?

There is no fix time table...depending on the doctor..may take 5-12 days, provided there is no need for secondary checkup

It appears that CIC agent made an error on my application ------------ It was recorded that my file was received on June 5 2016........ while it should be 2019...........


How shall I ask them to correct this???

You are not answering the question I asked. Where did you saw this date? In the proof of delivery? Ecas? MyCIC?
