@YULIA-2016 PPR Request today. Medical passed July 22, 2019, Medical Done May 21, 2019 for my Dad while my mom January 10, 2019 (we used her supervisa medical) Police Certificate requested Augusts 18, 2019.

Quick question, my mom is in Canada while my Dad is in the Philippines. In the letter it said to send all docs in one single envelope. My mom is the principal applicant. Can we do her landing in Canada (send her passport to Ottawa) while my Dad to VAC in Philippines? My mom authorized stay is valid until November 1,2019

File Received at CIC: 12-09-2018
AOR: 03-12-2018
Sponsor Approval: 27-03-2019
Visa Office: New Delhi
Medical & PCC requested: 27-04-2019
Medical Passed: 10-05-2019
Pre-Arrival Letter: 12-09-2019

Today morning I see Decision Made on Principal Applicant on the online status but no updates in the MyCIC account.
I called the agent and i got weirdest of all answers that they cannot tell me what is the status as the file is being processed outside of Canada and they can only see information for offices in Canada..

Does anyone know when should i see any updates on the file on what the decision is or Passport request.. I always thought MyCIC is most up-to-date and the online status tool has a lag of few days.

My parents are coming to canada in less than 2 weeks, can i have the passport stamped in Canada and do flag polling for landing?
i am just worried that they do not invalidate their Visitor Visa if the passport request comes before they are scheduled to arrive.

Finally received Passport back from Ottawa. Took almost 3 weeks. Now only border crossing s left.

Hi Guys,

How long is your permanent visa typically valid? Is it issued from the date of your application is Final and "Decision Made". or from the date of your Medical is completed ?

PR VISA is valid for one year from the date of Medical exam taken.

or till your passport is valid

Confirmation of Permanent Residence
Yes, they will.
After that they should either meet Immigration Officer or do flagpole Landing at the boarder.

Once you have cic account linked, under “uploaded documents” you have option to upload documents. I think it is what this page is for.

But you were asked to submit your parents’ resume? Seriously this is new thing to me.

They asked for CV for my parents too. I also have seen some similar requests on the spreadsheet that this group has created.
In GCKey, If you go to the “uploaded document” there is a separate option for each requested document to be uploaded. I did it that way but I emailed them the docs as well.
