Hello Guys
I have received no update after the additional documents request. Its been one month. Any suggestions. May 27 file received. Additional docs requested on August 13.
My parents application is linked to mycic.
In their ecas, the home address is from home country and mailing is mine from Canada.
Is there any chance they would send mail? Even if they do, it would be to the mailing address which is mine?
My parents changed their home address, and i sent a webform to update it but they never updated it.
I just don’t feel like sending it again as my application is already stuck in process since Aug 08.
Any suggestions?
@robertp Now I believe NDVO is only requesting PCC which is different from previous few applications and last year, medical was also requested same time.
Hi, m new to this forum. I wanted to ask questions about my parents visa application. They already got refusals four times. My brother applied Supervisa for my parents and he himself came here in Canada as a visitor and got PR in refugee case 2 years ago. My dad went to America before in 1997 and was deported after 10 years. now in the CAIPs notes they wrote father overstayed 10 years and also worked illegal 10 years and both father and son made use of the visitor visa and that if parents got visa they will not go back. How can I convince them that my parents will only come here to visit us coz I really wanted them to attend my baby’s first birthday. I am PR here, came here on study visa and now both I and my husband are PR. I would really appreciate if anyone can help me.

So sorry to hear that. You might look for other threads that provide information regarding visitor visa after refusals or start a new one. I think your parents should prove the strong ties to their country (owing a property/jobs/other relatives etc) AND they only will be here to attend the grand-kid's birthday. The officers are 'concerned' that your parents would be staying illegally right? SO just try to show them they WOULD NOT stay after the birthday party and here are reasons why..
I really hope you can reunite with your parents for your LO's birthday. Have a great weekend.
