After a long wait it is PPR for me. I had review required in Funds and my file was always at CIO Sidney. Despite of being inland I will need to submit my passport, photos and annex A to Ottawa. I'm very happy could not hold the tears in the first moment.
I want to thank first to the almighty God and to the members of this Forum for such companionship and positive thinking.

Any idea how this works? I called direct from Australia, doesnt work as its a toll free number. Then I tried downloading the textme app, it calls this number but just keeps ringing and ringing and ringing.. no response. Is this usual?
Tried calling the Global Affairs number which then connects me to IRCC. Once I punch in my application number, it says your application cannot be found. When I try to speak to an operator, it says we have a large number in the queue (seems like its a template response, I called at 8am sharp couple of times, and other times as well).
Both the numbers seem useless at this point. Sydney australia VO does not speak about applications on the phone, and via email it mentioned 'Your case is under review, you will get a response once a decision has been made'.
Any thoughts or any help? My Aus visa condition is at a critical decision making time at this point, and a Canadian response (negative or positive, or even just a detailed status update) will be extremely helpful in the decision to be made regarding my status here.

You need to keep trying multiple times till you get connected - it will keep dropping calls because of call volume till you get in queue..
There was an option where you get transferred to ircc from global affairs canada - option 1 1 1 - and then option 2 1 1 0 -just like what @USProgrammer mentioned- takes you to sponsorship line but same operators - you can enquire about pr apps - looks like this option does not work anymore - i tried doing this yesterday and gave the same volume queue message and dropped my call- give it a try
If you use textnow - choose a canadian number for the account - worked for me yesterday - and call the direct line 1888-242-2100 ..

Basically, the main stagnation has been with Criminality, Eligibility, and Security. If I understand properly, I have Criminality and Eligibility as "In Progress" and Security "Not Started."
Any insight from anyone why this is the case and what I can do to speed up the process?

Thank you Kzeed and USProgrammer for your help guys! I called my cousin in Canada and asked them to call the IRCC toll free number to see if its a problem from me calling overseas, or whether no one picks up there either. They called me back saying it goes straight to IRCC voice machine! I was like cool, paid $10, got a canadian number on the TextMe app, and then tried again it worked fine! Was put on hold for 21 mins (best 21 mins of my life, was super excited to finally be able to get an update)
Anyways 21 mins later I got notified by the polite man on the phone that since my PR application is in Sydney, Australia, he can only see on screen whatever I see on my online account as well and that he doesnt have any updates further than this. So alas, I have resigned to my fate and will have to just wait in the dark till IRCC lights a match !
Btw, USProgrammer, that issue where you login and it takes you to the English/French homepage, thats a very common issue I face, I have noticed this specifically happens at a specific time everyday (12am roughly Sydney time)(I am assuming this must be due to daily maintenance, or like you said overflow of logins). Usually works fine when I try again a bit later.

I applied under federal skilled worker PNP
I am living and working in Canada. Do I need proof of funds if I need it then what should I need to submit because when I searched a bit I figured out that Fedrdal worker who has a work permit in Canada and valid job letter does not need proof funds? Any suggestions?

Need to look at your gcms bud to know more - especially the assessment page towards the end and initial few pages where they keep repeating the same details .. if you can copy past redacted info - will take a look
