My dependents and I did our medical in February 2019 and it was submitted to IRCC in March 2019. In July 2019 I received another medical request for 1 of my dependent whose medical was already submitted. I called the doctor's office and he told me that all the medicals were submitted. What could be the cause of this?? Could it be an error or oversight?

It will do you a great deal of good if you can put a call through to the IRCC call center, b'cus I don't think anyone can give you a definitive answer here. Although IRCC do request for additional medical test when needed. Probably there is something they need to confirm but your panel physician are not allow to discuss with you. But in this case it is most likely something went wrong while uploading the result.
Please give IRCC a call, it's the best bet to finding an answer to your query.

Congratulations. it's perfectly normal, you won't see any change on GCkey from now on. you will get a separate PPR email and GCkey will only change to approved when they stick the immigrant visa to your passports.

If you were able to restore your status ..then dont worry. They will just do extra check thats all... my wife was refused upto 4 times for visistors visa..that is why my file was transferred to etobicoke

I applied last friday for restoration of status as vistor. Havnt heard back from them. I guess processing time for this is 3 months.
