Please copy and paste the original job offer letter here with your personal information removed.
This will tell us much more about the possibility of this being a scam/fake.
I don't see how a Foreign National would be required for this job role.
This will likely be a fake as the majority of so called offers from oil/gas companies . In this case unlikely would think an LMIA could be approved for an office manager given likely plenty of resident candidates.
Without seeing the actual offer though this is speculation but if offers any one of flights, accommodation or food then will be fake.
Did you even have an interview with this company in Canada or just paid the consultant without any contact with the actual company or maybe scammers pretending to be the company ?
well as per the original poster here who was asked to post a copy the job offer from the company but did not do that.
The job offer letters contain clues such as fake email addresses and other things Canadian employers simply do not offer such as flight, accommodation and food.
Alternatively you can try contacting the real ATCO.COM and not any number or email address given to you.
Can you confirm how long it take you for to get lmia letter and how many job offers provided and if you can provide copy of lmia without personal details that will be make thong easier
As per my knowledge fake one doesn't get that much time they didn't have that much patience but which city they offer job and there are so many fake consultancy too search the name on theses site which consultancy through you aplied are they professional lawyer you pay money or consultancy but without lmia letter it's very hard to tell
So let me understand this you are paying a consultant for a job offer which you have not yet seen from a company who supposedly has paid 1000 dollars for an LMIA, advertised the job for a few months and decided that you are the best candidate for a job for which there would be plenty of resident candidates
So you have unique skills to bring to Canada as an office manager as there are no office managers in the whole of Canada is what is implied to obtain an LMIA
All this and yet no where here have you said whether the company with the job offer has even interviewed you plus 13 months really sounds as though the consultant is just dragging this along to charge more for a non existent job that will likely mysteriously disappear..
