Please update that I just received AOR stating that my application has been accepted under the intake cap for 2019.

Looks like we are in the same boat. Also from Quebec, May 7th received date. I just received the Biometrics request but no Undertaking step yet. I would've thought the Undertaking would've been before Biometrics?

many case Bio request send just before Decision made. tomorrow your Ecas will update to DM.
For QC applicant IME and PCC will put on hold until CSQ and undertaking not clear.

I applied for my parents who were more or less in the same boat...didn't want to come here and etc etc. But I know even now no one is there to take care of them...what will happen in 5-10 yrs time. It's not like ever year you have an opening to apply.

The issue is if the can’t meet their residency requirement there is no guarantee they will be able to move to Canada when they want to.

Hi .. I have question regarding PCC

1) is PCC required for both the parents? as in one police certificate for father and one police certificate for mother?? and
2) it should not have been produced more than 6 months before PCC request by CIC?

So even though we have not received PCC request from CIC, we cannot go ahead and start the process of getting PCC from local police (which could take 1-2 weeks)?
I had thought PCC should not be more than 6 months old, from the time CIC requests?. which means we can order PCC from local police and have it handy when CIC requests

you can apply advance but submit after CIC request you.
