I have a question regarding express entry .
I have done 12th (high school graduation) from india and i have earned a diploma from a Canadian college, then what should i fill up in what is your level of education ?

Enter the highest level of education for which you:

  • earned a Canadian degree, diploma or certificate or
  • had an Educational Credential Assessment (ECA) if you did your study outside Canada. (ECAs must be from an approved agency, in the last five years)

I submitted my EE profile a few days back, my score is 408 & NOC will be 2173 (Software Engg), any chance I can get any PNP nominations? If not, please suggest alternatives. Your help will be appreciated.

Hi, appreciate this brief but clear steps process but could you help me throw more light on item (7). "Last but not the least, keep you profile updated. Updated profile is always preferred in the express entry database". How do one keep profile updated?

Cheers , hoping to here from you.
Hi

By last step I mean that, there are some instances wherein some changes occur in the profile of the concerned person (whose express entry profile is created) after the creation of express entry profile. If there is any such instance, you need to specify these updations in your express entry profile.

Hope this is clear.

I took bachelor and master degree from different institution. After Dec 2018, WES is expecting us to send transcript straightly from institution ..if that is the case, how should i send it to WES when different institution involved for my bachelor and master degrees..please help me
You have to approach both the universities independently and follow the respective university process, ask universities to send WES directly in a signed & sealed university envelope

It's all on the CIC site: http://www.cic.gc.ca/english/immigrate/skilled/index.asp

But...

(Please note that this info does not apply to the Federal Skilled Trades Program)

1) Determine your eligibility by doing this CIC quiz http://www.cic.gc.ca/ctc-vac/ee-start.asp

2) Get your language test(s) done. You must get at least CLB 7 in each of the four sections for the Federal Skilled Worker (FSW), Provincial Nomination Program (PNP) or Canadian Experience Class (CEC) streams. But getting CLB 10 gives you maximum points for language.

How does CLB match back to the language tests? That info is here --> http://www.cic.gc.ca/english/resources/tools/language/charts.asp

3) Get your qualifications assessed by doing an Education Credential Assessment. Details here --> http://www.cic.gc.ca/english/immigrate/skilled/assessment.asp

4) Determine the code that best applies to you on the National Occupation Classification (NOC) list http://www.cic.gc.ca/english/immigrate/skilled/noc.asp

The occupation must be NOC 0, A, or B for FSW or CEC.

5) When you have those in hand you create your express entry profile. http://www.cic.gc.ca/english/immigrate/skilled/profile.asp and register for the Job Bank http://www.jobbank.gc.ca/home-eng.do?lang=eng

You'll be given points based on your age, education, number of years work experience, and language skills. The points system is detailed here --> http://www.cic.gc.ca/english/express-entry/grid-crs.asp

You'll be in a pool with thousands of other applicants http://www.cic.gc.ca/english/immigrate/skilled/pool.asp

Of course, the more points you have the better. The max is 1200, with 600 of those points coming from your ability to snag a PNP or a job offer with a very hard to get Labour Market Impact Assessment http://www.cic.gc.ca/english/work/employers/lmo-basics.asp

For CEC applicants, the max is 600 but someone who has no work experience in Canada who is only eligible for FSW can only get up to 520 points.

6) Finally, wait for your invitation to apply (ITA). But in the interim you will need to do the following:

a) Have your application fee (C$550 each for principal applicant and spouse) and right of permanent resident fee (C$490 each for principal applicant and spouse) ready
http://www.cic.gc.ca/english/information/fees/fees.asp

b) Identify how you will provide proof of funds http://www.cic.gc.ca/english/immigrate/skilled/funds.asp

c) check out what is required for the police certificates http://www.cic.gc.ca/English/information/security/police-cert/index.asp

d) find out how long it takes to get a date for the medical exam. http://www.cic.gc.ca/english/information/medical/medexams-perm.asp

e) contact previous and current employers about them providing job letters. You must have at least 12 months of full-time, or an equal amount in part-time, skilled work experience. Full-time work means at least 30 hours of paid work per week. Work experience while you were a full-time student does not count.

f) research cities in the province(s) where you want to live.
Hi,

Please advise urgently.

I received ITA on 12th August and about to file my application. I am Indian resident in Dubai. I had arranged for Dubai Police clearance certificate and Indian Police Clearance certificate (before my short vacation to India as I did not want to delay my application) which is dated 26th July 2019. I visited India for vacation on 10th August, 2019 returned 22nd August. I am about to file my application and our agent is insisting that we need to produce new PCC from Dubai and India because we have travelled to India after the PCC were issued and the same remains Invalid. They are saying this can lead to rejection of application. My both PCC are clear with no criminal records. Please advise if there is really a need to get new PCC?

Hey guys! I have a friend whose CRS score 405 and has been in pool since 2017 but coz of the low score, he’s still waiting. His agent doesn’t seem that proactive too. So I wanted to ask if there is any other option as in like PNP or anything else. He’s given Ielts like 5 times and latest is 7.5 always missing by a .5! NOC 0631. He recently got married too but his wife doesn’t have much to add as no experience and has done only a diploma. Any help or suggestions will be much appreciated! Thanks

Dear All,
I m creating my EE profile, and have doubts which may be silly, however, kindly help in clarifying below queries:
1) Provinces and Territories of interest. Should I select All ?
In Work history -
2) "I became 1st qualified to practise in this occupation" - should I put in my 1st day of Job as per NOC? Or my Master's graduation day?
3) Job title - should it be among the one given in NOC code or should I put the one given in my reference letter. (Both are close but not exact)
4) Questions on Research - should I fill it or say No?
5) Spouce education - My spouse ECA is due in 2 months, should I create and submit EE profile by selecting her education as NO. ? Later I can say Yes and add her graduation ECA details ?

Hello All,
I have a few question regarding the education history section of the profile.
I have three different diplomas/certificates that were assessed by Wes.
However, I'm not sure how to fill the fields of one of the certificades.

I have made a Postgraduate specialization in my field, and my ECA Report states the Canadian Equivalency as "Completion of a graduate medical specialization", but what does this mean?
Should I put this as "Two-year program at a university, college, trade or technical school, or other institute" or "Master’s degree, OR professional degree needed to practice in a licensed profession (For “professional degree,” the degree program must have been in: medicine, veterinary medicine, dentistry, optometry, law, chiropractic medicine, or pharmacy.)"??
