My gf’s application for was returned yday. The letter said that her passport(s) do not cover the 5-year period preceding the date of application. Looking at both her passports, I saw that the old one was expired on May 4, 2016 and that the old one was released to her on June 21, 2016. So there is around 1month gap. Could that be the reason? She renewed her passport late, that’s why there was a gap. What documents could We provide them along with the explanation that she renewed her passport late that year? Thanks a lot!

Hi Folks, Need expert advice..
1.I'm planning for home country visit in this year. I had received AOR on July 29th. What month will be the best time I can go without worrying about test invite or oath looking at the current timelines? I'm from Scarborough.
2. Do I need to inform CIC if going for around 29 days out of Canada.? Like at what stage they will review my CBSA report on entry exit etc?

I changed my address on ecas on 12 August..still not updated either. Yesterday I spoke with CIC agent but she doesn't know who updates in such cases and she just can check the file only.
