Yes correct. I just realized they got to may 14. I have a question. Does it only change once a day? Like 10 am est? Or it can change anytime in the day?

Yep congratulations to you. MyCIC won't update to approved until counterfoil is done. I believe it took me a week from DM to PCC so start counting your days and start planning now

Thanks for your reply! Do you think it's better to wait till I receive the ppr letter then report my newborn baby? He just came out last week.
I don't know if I report it now will slow down the process or not.

The ECAS update says, they have sent a correspondence on 19th Aug but I haven't received any email or message in the MyCIC, does anyone here have an idea that will they be sending a postal mail or how/when they send these type of correspondences?

There can be two scenarios based on the information provided by users:

1. You did not send use of rep form
2. It's a system glitch

If you are the representative, call CIC to get further details

I did sent the Use of Rep form, so the first scenario is unlikely unless the form is misplaced

Yes it is believed that the update is from Tuesday to Saturday at 10 AM EST.

Ecas updated today to in process for both but only sponsor has two extra lines 2- started processing on Aug 19
3- sent a correspondence on 19 aug. Please provide requested information (I have not received anything yet)

But in myCIC under

• We need additional documents to continue processing your application. We will send you a message with more details.

P.S. = I got GCMS notes yesterday and as per notes officer was waiting for my spouse NOA from CRA. We only gave authorization to CIC to contact CRA.

So frustrated....2 months and 8 days has passed since my case went into processing on June 12th.

I am in the same boat, application received on April 30 without additional doc request and according to GCMS it is pending case officer review from the date when it went to in process

i heard that ircc randomly picks cases and assigns them to one specific VO for further review, which causes delay. I am not sure whether it is true or not.

That all depends on the workload of the clinic and/or the general health condition of the applicant. I also did extensive search beforehand so I knew exactly which clinic to go to in GVA once I received the letter. I'm also glad the clinic was as good as I expected.

Congrats, did you go to a clinic in Beijing China? Can you please recommend it i think my parents will be doing their ME in Beijing too.

I hear you!! My application was received on Apr 30, but since they had nothing no ecas, no aor, until Aug 13 and now today just changed to in process. I think at some point during the processing of files there is going to be gaps, not sure how it is decided though!!
