Does anyone know if you will be exempt from biometric is your parents turn 79 before the biometric is requested? The age is clause is below 79 needs biometric. Just wondering????

I just went into labour last week, do you think if I update my info through webform right now will slow down the time to receive ppr letter?
Should I wait till I receive the letter then update it or just update it now?

I think it goes by the time that you submit your application, if they turn 79 after you submit the application they will still need to do biometric.

Can any one help me in linking the application to CIC?

I am family of 4 (Me, Wife, and 2 Kids), last year I sponsored my wife parents (2-> Mom and Dad), this year one parent. So I need to mention family members as 7 or 5 or 3?

Passport details --> is it parent or my details?

Current Marital Status--> mine or parent (parent is widowed).

Send in a webform. Best to send it earlier versus later.

Did you get any updates regarding her medicals, does anything shows in CIC account as "medical received or passed" ?

Not yet as my appl was received on May 22 so just got AOR. But i’ll keep you posted on what they do. You do the same. Thanks!

As you are waiting for AoR, I would recommend to wait.

My mother is arriving (on supervisa) in canada on sep 6. Should i update CIC before her arrival or later for the PGP application?

I think best way to inform cic is using the webform - any other method ?

No if they are 80 they don't have to do it. 79 and below has to do it which includes 79 year olds.
