I applied for the student visa on July 12th and I did the biometrics on July 18th, but I don't have any updates... my visa is being processed at CPC Edmonton, I've heard that it's very slow... is any one else in that situation? Do anyone know how long do they usually approve the visa?

You get an email saying there's an update on your gc account. I dont have time to reapply as my course starts on September 4. I'll have to look into deferring my offer to the January intake. I really don't understand them. Why would they care about travel history for an 18 year old student?? I also showed them around $45,000 and even paid for my first semester and they still mentioned financial status as a reason for denial. I also have a scholarship which is apparently not taken into consideration.

Biometrics: 23rd
After that no updates no notifications, no medical clearance no biometrics.
August 15: passport submission request.
Status
Final decision: you application has been approved
Medical: you passed the test

My profile;
10th-85%
12th-78%
IELTS 7.0 bands with no less than 6.5
Paid GIC and first year tuition fee.

I have a better profile than u and applied earlier than u, but still no decision, I'm worried

Me. . I applied on 29th june.. Bio.. On 8th july... Bio. Corspnds ltr 24 july.. Medical passed and eligibility review starts on 24 th july.. I mailed them at Bengalore in return i answered that your file is processed at vpc edmonton ...

Same timeline with 10th-94% and 12th-85% and the ielts score is same . Applied under sds on same timeline but till now i have not received a single mail i cant even track . Dont know what to do
