So, IRCC did not ask you to do medical again they are considering medicals done during visitor visa extension?

They have not requested yet. Will wait until the status turns to medicals passed before I can confirm that they have considered the earlier medicals.

Hi, I don't know what the heck they are doing with my dad's application. I have been approved as a sponsor for a month now. This morning, I see, the status on mycic says "Profile updated". In the details, I see, it says, "We are reviewing your medical". I have never received the medical...What they are reviewing....?


Anybody has any information?

My parents did the medical in 2015 for super visa. After that, they did not do any medical.

They may not request it if it is within 1 year of your PR application.
That was my own experience with my PR. They accepted my medical that was done within the last year.

They did medical 4-5 years back for Super visa only.

This is a system glitch I guess, You will most probably be getting medical request soon.

The reason, I am paranoid, they had added wrong person as a dependent to my dad and that person recently done the medical. I checked this morning they have not fixed the issue yet. Though, I had reported the issue to them in June.

I hope, this is a glitch and they send the medical for correct applicant soon.

Just to clarify, a person is required to provide PCC for country that they stay over 6 months, except Canada. Is that correct?

If parents live in Canada on tourist visa over 6 months, they do not have to provide PCC?
