Just got original ppr request! I have a 6 year study gap and was very nervous since the last month.
Anyway here's my timeline.

Applied online non SDS : 25 june
Biometrics submitted : 28 June
Medicals updated : 25 July
Correspondence letter : 2 August
Original ppr : 3 August

Hi, it seems lately that's what's going on around. Maybe they are having issues or something. Nobody knows. Many people have been waiting for a long time now and is unfair if they wouldn't treat us all as humans. We all have feelings too and they need to keep to time how they probably processing study visa application for the Fall terms starting from next month 2019.

I absolutely agree with you. IRCC processing times are very bad for some cases which are taking extraordinary long times. They should pull in more visa officers from Scandinavian countries to handle the load.

Did you click and open both the letters. The POE letter is also known as Correspondance letter when you check the message online using GCkey

Even I received correspondence letter twice with gap of two days
1st correspondence letter of biometric on 27th July
2nd correspondence letter of biometric on 30th July
No update after that
