Sorry in advance guys if i am offending someone!!
I believe we should not panic about these small delays. I have seen people waiting for 6 years for their parents to get here. Rather we should be thankful for:

• Firstly we have this option to apply for our parents (Many countries don't allow or charge huge money)
• processing time is at most 2 years, which is way better than what it was 3-4 years ago!

You need to include your father in both forms. They said "accompanying or not". You shouldn't include your sister.

Your father must complete a new form of IMM5406 too.

Make sure you use the most recent form of IMM0008. It was updated in June 2019.

Did you call CIC ? I called them early this week and was told its in temp status as they are checking file completeness. Not sure what they are checking so hard when I only applied for mother who is widow.

Yes i called them and same answer i received last week. guys whose application was received after May 9th have AOR already

Yeah, your father is a dependent and you need to fulfill income criteria for 3 people (assuming you are single)

Most likely 30 days as they put a note to come back and review. Tracker can help you for updates on similar cases. I see status for them as "not available"

And you thought you can bring your sister as dependent? Man! If she is below 22 and married, she is still no longer considered as dependent.

That's a good news, meaning applicants inside Canada are officially exempted for now. Where are you in the tracker by the way? When did your application receive by IRCC?

Father - Of course; he is a non-accompanying dependent if they are still married.
Sister - If she is above 22 and married, she won't be considered a dependent.

I suggest you read the application guide carefully. You may even need to revisit the Income calculations.

Seeing to many people asked to re-submit IMM 5669 with hand sign, I am wondering didn't they read the checklist?

IMPORTANT: For this form to be accepted, you must a) complete it, b) validate it, c) print it, and d) sign your name in writing with a handwritten signature in the signature box.

Idid both but I wished they had have mentioned right on the signature box with that TYPING YOUR NAME HERE ONLY IF YOU SUBMIT APPLICATION ONLINE. However I believe that some updates positively will be added next years

Anyone know if a stuck application will go back to end of queue? Say if VO is overly cautious and put your file in review for some minor issue he or she thinks of?
