All, I have not received any AOR for the application which was delivered to the office on 01 May 2019. No update since then and I am unable to find any info online as well. Please help and advise.

AOR will come later. However your ecas will show current status.

Did you try ecas with yours or parents UCI ?

Yes, these can be done at ASCs in the USA. There are many options in ASCc. they will ask for just 13 digit IRCC number to schedule your appointment.

All those who got "Decision Made" for sponsor, did your parents myCIC shows Background Check "in process" or "not applicable" ?
I am just trying to ascertain the fact if the background check is part of process or applicants are selected randomly for this check.

Background check will be done for all applicants, it is part of the process

Hi everyone,

Anyone submitted their application without birth certificate of sponsor and marriage certificate of parents because of non availability in India received their AOR yet. I submitted affidavits from parents, myself,matriculation certificate and other supporting government documents from India. My application was received at Ottawa on 12th june.

I did same. It will be acceptable.

Your application was received 26th June. Currently ecas is available for up to 10th May so please wait another 8-10 weeks.

you have miles to go...please see the first link in my signature on the behind the scenes process. As other have pointed out, it will take another 8-10 weeks (if not more) in your case...
