Any one got any updates so far after Canada day?

Called last week, the agent said File is in queue for review by an officer. Meds expired in Mar 2019 and no re-med request till date.

How we know if they extend med? I mean what is says in online status? 'Not applicable' or 'you do not need a medical exam, we will send you a massage if this change'.

Just got re medical request form in my account online..Going tomorrow to get it done. Question for the people who got re medical requests. Did you have to upload the form given by the doctor after the examination or not? Because I dont see any upload area in my online account.

Still don't know why some people get re medical request and other medical extension.....

I just received a re med request. But my wife is pregnant now so she cannot do x Ray test and all for now. Will my application go On hold for this reason . I have sent a CSE regarding this . Let's see. Will re med also cost the same .

Hi, because you already have the IME number on the remed request form sent by cic, doctor will say you do not need to upload again. Doctor or clinic will upload it themselves to the Emedical system.
But I did send cic an webform and uploaded the clinic Information sheet and tell them I done my remed. You can/should do so too.
By the way, after clinic upload your remed result, in several days you will see your med pass again. Mine was about 7 days.
And then you will get ppr.

Yes..you did correct my sending a CSE...Generally they might ask you for a re med later on after the pregnancy.

It takes several days to weeks for people. For my case, because I am in SS, it takes 5 weeks for me to get ppr.
I hope you get it very soon.

Still no news my side. Tomorrow will mark 15 months since AOR. According to our agent, who contacted CIC, everything has been cleared and they are just awaiting the last criminality reports. But this makes me very confused as we passed criminality last year already, so I'm assuming it's the security checks that are ongoing. Our medicals expired in March and we've had no news on this. Our file has been sitting in Pretoria VO since March and I got an email response from them last week to say my file is in queue for review, but this is such a generic response that could mean anything. Really don't know what to make of any of it - everything is always so vague. Really hope and pray for some news soon so this limbo can end.

Hello, April 4th CEC

I just spoke with an Agent and she told me the following:

-Eligibility passed as per the last call on June 10th, 2019
- Security passed probably around the 20th of June ( ghost update ) BGC completed! finally
What is left now it is the medicals which expired on the 24 April 2019.
Is there a pattern or a time frame from the medical expiration and eventually a request to redo them or extension?
What are your experiences about it? how long did you guys wait? 1 month,2,3....? Thanks to everyone in this forum
