Somebody just giving false information that cause somebody to have anxiety.
Or somebody is too intelligent that they can read the IRCC minds and just posting informations here and sometimes not even related to this forum like salaries and other stuff!

Wait, do you think they sent invitations to all 27000 submissions? I thought they will filter and remove all the duplicates first then they sent the invites probably it isn’t 27000 anymore.
If applications were going to be rejected due to mistake on family size calculation, we would have heard by now, I would guess more than 60% of the applicants on this forum had that same mistake due to them changing the calculation method from the information on the website to the EOI form
Don't create chaos just for the sake of discussion, an error in family calculation is an honest mistake, stating that you fulfill the income requirements when you don't, that's a whole different story

Suppose they have wrongly counted family members as 4, (whereas it should have been 5 or more)... and also suppose their income is just sufficient for 4..
No official. But you know how they had a website you can go to put in your confirmation number and see if you got an ITA? Someone counted all of the numbers with ITAs and said it was 26990 something.

CIC invited everyone (after doing some cleanup) = 26,612. Why ? Cuz CIC knows that 25% of invited applicants either do not qualify, or will not submit. See my post No. 7382 pg 413 re: this discussion.
It will be a stretch to get even 20k complete applications
I feel new members who haven't read the previous pages raise the same questions / debates all over again. This issue has been discussed and settled at least thrice already...

So that figure that you posted is officially from IRCC? Or somebody just computed them according to numbers in the website. Well then congratulations and great job to that somebody got all the time to scrutinize and gave the total number of invitation.. But I will stick to what the IRCC’s official information. Thank you.
I am reading the thread by the way and sometimes it is frustrating to read because too many debates about non sense out of the topic. I’m here for information about the forms, requirements and most importantly is the tracking.
My point is stick to the tracking and helping about the questions of other members about the requirement. That’s all.. Thanks!!
From the very beginning IRCC said it will accept 20000 and any leftover applications from this year will get priority next year. They will process all applications if submitted before June 28th so if someone is refused they have applications ready to go. We will all have to wait and see how many applications are not submitted or are disqualified.
