My understanding is they will process all qualified submitted applications. It may take a little longer for those who submitted in June but i dont think there is a big gap. FIFO is somewhat true as they would process applications in May first then process ones in June. But this does not mean applications in May must have done first before they can move on to June submissions.
@canuck78 all are considering last year majority of processed application.. Most got processed in 6-10 months so people has high expectation. And why dont we have it as it is for our togetherness with parents.. Nothing wrong to be inpatient when it comes to parents.
Some have already waited 2 months so 6 months seems unlikely. They accepted 27000 applicants vs 10000 last year so I expect the process to be longer. Many of the applications from October 2018 were processed slower. Everyone has been comparing times to last year and keep on being disappointed. Not to mention we have no idea what is going on with lawsuits. Best to have realistic expectations and be happier if things are processed faster. People keep on panicking when things take longer than last year when nobody promised fast processing times like last year. That could be a one off year.
Actually they haven't been transparent about how they are going to process the applications. I can't find it, but someone did ask this question to IRCC specifically if they would process applications if there are more than 27,000 and got a reply just saying that based on the applications they have received, they will process your application when they receive it. Nothing specific about whether they will NOT process any applications received.
I just realized in the Additional family information form (IMM5406), We did NOT write the names in our native language. I have already submitted the forms, and they were received (no Ecas yet) on the 5 of June.
My question is, will this be a problem in the application? if yes is there any way to pro-actively rectify it ? Thanks
Regards

Think that is just normal intake but nobody is being careful that applications received are processed in any kind of order. The processing center is scanning applications as they come in. They are also checking for missing signatures and pages.

Was never any promise that getting you application in faster would get it processed faster. If you were the 26999 application for EOI but submitted your application first you aren’t guaranteed to be processed in PGP 2019.
Omg same. I can relate. When i came in 2014 i told them 8 years from now which is a long time. And now hopefully in 8 months from now they'll be here.
it's crazy
I hope we all get through it within a year.
We are the lucky ones so be patient and positive.
Glad that we got invited and submitted our applications in time.
Now let the IRCC take care of the rest.
