If you haven't received any notification, consider is not transferred. it however can be otherwise as well as not everyone get a transfer message.
People have long been waiting to be transferred to LVO, your best bet would be to order GCMS notes to find out or call them up (lucky if they give you the status).
Yes some ADr in march n may
Yes, my same here, additional doc requested in May.

So did u hear back from lvo??
Hi everyone,
I am a new immigrant and I got my PR in May 2019. I am single but my marriage is InshaAllah being finalized. It's arranged.
*** Reading all the comments is very shocking for me. I have lived in Saudi Arabia all my life and they seem to treat newly weds more humanely than Canadian system sadly***
My questions:
1- I still have a year before getting married. Should I do Nikkah and start my process?
2- I still live in Saudi Arabia. So can I apply to sponsor my Wife from Overseas? or I cannot apply until I have started living in Canada?
3- Can I apply for a visit visa for my future wife. How does the Canadian system expect newly weds to live separately for more than a year. What kind of law is this ?
Thanks
Can you define Humanely? Does Saudi allow you to become a Saudi Citizen?
1. You can start with Nikkah only case. At least your file will be in Queue. Once you have rukhsati, send proof voluntarily to the case officer. That is what I did and there was no issue.
2. I am not an expert on that matter. But you will have to be in canada to sponsor her.
3. Live with her in Saudia/Pakistan. Canada is not forcing you to live in Canada. You can apply but getting visit visa in not guaranteed. In most cases it is usually rejected.

Thanks.
So the link states that there is no income requirement if I am sponsoring spouse only. Will that affect my application in anyway if I am not working?
Secondly I am planning to do Nikkah first and then wait a year until completing events and Valima. Can I apply using Nikkah so that I can process my wifes documents. That is after moving to canada permanently which is the first condition.
and what is the possibility of Visit Visa for my wife once my Nikkah is done?
It wont affect if you are not working. But you will take oath when submitting sponsorship application that you will be responsible for financial support of your wife for 3 years. This is an undertaking that you are responsible for her financials even if you are not working.

Yes apply as Nikkah only case. It will speed up the process, They take a year or so to open your file for processing after they receive your application.

nikah only cases take longer u should do the whlole wedding n then sponsor ur wife n u can always try for visit visa after u r married but chances r low mostly for pakistani spouses..n since u jst got PR u need to live in Canada if u sponsor ur wife since u cant live outside canada until ur spouse gets PR..u can only visit outside canada n a normal vacation would be 2 or 3 weeks max anything over ur spouse PR application will be refused. Only canadian citizens can go outside canada for long period of time n live with thier spouses while the application is in process!
Hi guys.
I submitted my wife's application on May 6th. Haven't gotten a response yet. What is the normal time for CIC to get back to us with an AOR?
its taking 6 to 7 weeks for may applicants n some may 6 applicants got AOR this week

u r oct 2018 applicant n got medical request late i think..most oct 2018 applicants file r already transfered to lvo..some nov n dec 2018 applicants r waiting for file transfers n all the 2019 applicants as well
Does it take that long for them to even acknowledge that they received the application? If they had to reject it for incompleteness, would they do that before that time?
mine was returned after 45 days first time ..n sometimes it can even take 90 days to get AOR m sure u will get it soon or u can call cic n inquire abt ur application they might tell u if ur application is opened yet or being returned back

Hey, thank you maria_786
I just got an email from IRCC today asking to pay RPRF fee.
This is the very first communication I have seen from them, no AOR or anything. Or is this considered AOR?
Also, I am trying to link my application to the account and for some reason it can't find it. I am using the Application Number and UCI they have provided on the email.
Does anyone know about this or has faced a similar situation?

It surprises me that you have been waiting for close to month for PPR. Is PPR issued by Islamabad consulate or LVO? I am waiting for my ppr, it has been almost 4 days since DM.
