Anyone from May 10th got eCAS yet?

No. I am from May 10th.
As I wrote earlier, we from May 10th are the unlucky ones and will not see any ecas before June ends.
Given that July/August is mostly vacations so not sure when we will see any updates, as they will be more slow to come. Lucky are those who submitted up to 9th May. This also tells us what a difference one day can make as you see updates coming through entire week for May 9 only..

You won't get an email notification for ecas and mycic status update, you only receive emails for correspondences, such as docs request, decision make etc.

In the past, I have noticed that, (with my other application like super visa or student visa application), email was sent even there was no change in the status. Like some one may have update something in the application. However, I must tell that the email I used to get was not from the department or agent but was more like automated mycic update. This was like 4 year back.

On a similar note, people who's application was delivered on May 17th will probably see a much slower movement. Not only it was a Friday, it was a long weekend also (Monday was off).

based on the previous years, are they gonna ask for a dead parent's death certificate a 100%? or it depends on the officer?
I don't understand, if they were gonna ask for it eventually, why didn't they put it in the initial checklist?

According to 2019 tracker, they are asking for it. Have it prepared. If not English, have a certified, notarized English translation ready.

Agree with @bdidol . I sent my fathers death certificate in advance along with my application, just to be on the safe side.

Hi , can anyone let me know how to check ecas/cic account status for my pgp application. I also have a citizenship application in process, not sure if I will see two different timelines on Ecas for the two applications if I use my UCI .

Same for me. My citizenship application is in process . When I login using my own UCI number I see both applications on the screen.

@Siusiu . Are you sure your application was received May 10th. Based on one of your earlier comment, you mentioned that it was received May 9th.
Reason I ask is that May 10th ecas are normally not available so wanted to confirm with you, if its truly that date.
