This is really bad advice and actually in accurate. The call center has no way of getting that as they are not the officers working on ur file. The most they can do is give a temp application number starting with XF. Call center agents have no power or authority over ur file. I cant even believe u would give this advice out like that. SMH
You can check the status of your application with the receipt number from when you paid the fees (it starts with an R). We used this before we got AOR, and were able to find the application on ECAS around 12 hours before I received the official AOR email. But as others have mentioned, you won't be able to get an AOR by calling in, the agents on the phones have no way of doing anything to process your application, they'll only be able to provide info (and even then, based on what I've read on this forum they frequently give info that is incorrect). Try using your receipt number on ECAS for now.

waiting your answers otherwise I will not link it
hope this time my message will not stay without answer as usual
Update
Spousal Sponsorship Sponsor: Canadian Permanent Resident | PA: Brazilian
Application received: May 1st 2019
AOR: June 15th 2019
App linked June 16th 2019
Biometrics request June 24th 2019
Medical request June 26th 2019
Ecas says Decision Made on Sponsor, since yesterday, but no email with approval yet
If you can find it on ECAS it should mean AOR is heading your way, although that was quite a while ago. Check your junk mail, sometimes it ends up in there! Either way, it is a good sign that you found it, it means the application is on their system.

Thanks for the update, I might over looked at Junk emails and deleted all, now I do not have AOR mail with me, but got bio metric request and I am able to link my application online, do we need this AOR at any time in future ?
Congrats , I think mine is missed somewhere or It might ended up in Junk and I might have deleted any way I put my self as Representative so got bio - metric request to mail id, I hope AOR is not that much important, do they have any important information over there ?
Called CIC, they confirmed that they missed to send AOR for me, and they send request to specific department, also she told my SA is approved waiting for that email as well
