Hi thank you!
We took our passport in person to the VAC office in Santo Domingo and they sent it with vfs. We were told it will arrive in 15 working days and we will pick it up in person.
Good luck
Hey, wondering if you can tell me a little more about your process. I am worried about sending my husband’s passport to Mexico via courier. So you’re saying you were able to go to the Visa office in Santo Domingo and they sent the passport to Mexico on your behalf? Also what is vfs? Thanks

Yes we went to the VFS in Santo Domingo and they sent the passport from there. They provided us with a tracking number (which doesn’t work online lol) and they send emails whenever there’s an update. It is currently on its way back to the VFS and we will get an email saying to pick it up. It is a VAC centre and the address is

Guys, don't stress out with the status on GCKey; my passport is already at the VO in Sao Paulo for my CoPR and GCKey is showing BGC and eligibility in progress. They are like that since September 2018 hehehehe

So happy to see that you have got your PPR! Its been a long wait for you and I really admire how positive and cheerful you've been all this time. You have been so helpful to other members here and always encouraged others in this long and frustrating journey. I wish you the very best!

My wife's status remained at DM till she landed in Canada, only then it changed to Complete. Till then, BGC and eligibility were in process in GCKey. After landing, all of it got updated. It showed that BGC was actually done in November, which means neither eCAS nor GCKey are updated regularly. Frustrating, but that's the truth.
