Hello everyone,
Me and my wife have an express entry profile for PR under CEC Inland going on.
Invitation received for PR : 23rd Jan, 2019
AOR : 1st Feb, 2019
Got Married : 9th March, 2019
My medical passed : 17th March, 2019
Spouse Added : 28th March, 2019
Additional Documents submitted : 27th May, 2019
Wifes medical passed : 4th June, 2019
Both our Criminality, Security & Background check : Under processing
Visa Office : Calgary
PR days remaining : 54
So thought to apply for my wifes visitor visa which got rejected in 6 days as not enough ties to the home country.
Now we have applied for Spouse Open Work Permit from India itself online application on 6th June with Wife’s Medical & Biometrics upfront.
Any idea about the timeline as application from India for SOWP is showing 5 weeks.
Any comments from the experts will be appreciated.
Thanks and all the best to all!

I think you are still not so bad, maybe you will get your ppr in 2 weeks. I saw that happened to someone before. Just wait.

I dont look at it as worse! 80% of PR applicants are in your shoes?!! you still have 57 days which is pretty long time looking at your application progress, i can see it is done. Security could come any moment and in one day a senior officer will approve your file and update it, next day you get PPR! relax and be realistic and optimistic as well. Best
Note: at this stage i doubt it that your eligibility is pass. It must be recommended pass ..

I think so too, only recommended pass, you only passed when your application is approved.

Hi
@Loyaltocanada ,
If you have passed more than 180 days its better to order GCMS notes + contact your Member of Parliament of your residence and I m sure Member of Parliament will help you out.
Regards
I’m waiting for the second notes
The first show recommended pass for eligibility while criminality and security not started.
Contacted the MP and he says it’s in que for review. That was a month ago
