I have question imm0008, currently my mother came as visitor in canada, so for ques 13 for dependent details, do i have to fill country of residence as Canada or it should be her home country

Looks like they have updated only two forms:- IMM1344 & IMM5406 , for the form # IMM 0008 it looks like they are using the older version now(11-2018) whereas the last time when I downloaded the IMM008 during the invitation it was (02-2019).

We’ll accept the previous version of the current form until another one is released. When a new version is released, we’ll accept the new version and the previous version of that. We encourage you to use the newest forms to avoid any possible delays.

They are saying that they would accept both old and new versions but would prefer new versions and can process the new versions faster.

On Additional Dependent declare form,
what is Mother's Dependent type(line 12)?
or leave it blank?
All type A, B and C is for a child, not spouse.

You can check on eCAS using your UCI number, if your application is in the hand of an officer then you can see the status there, they are currently processing up to 3 May as some people posted on here and whatsapp. If your package reached IRCC before 3 May and you have not received AOR or have not seen any status on ECAS, it is better to call IRCC to check if they have received your app and assigned a temp number. Anyone with a temp number mean they have not physically look at the package for completeness yet but just scan the first page and pass it to someone else to check. Straight forward cases mostly will have a full application number and will see status on eCAS

They have said that both versions are acceptable. But they do advise to use the new version to prevent delays in processing.
