I see many posts regarding IELTS being a money making machine. I have observed, a couple of people whom I know got great scores overall but 6.5 in writing section, leading their overall score to drop and they have the same issues about IELTS. Isn't this unethical from them if this is kind of deliberate? I scored CLB 10 in my first attempt, but so many people surely cannot be wrong.

Anyway here is hoping for a few favourable draws now. Maxed out at 441, hoping for one of the PNP invites, considering my job code is 2171 as per the list. Hoping for OINP NOI, once my ECA report is completed by 4th June

So here's a classic example mate. You are a CLB10 and at 441 and there are many bright and promising candidate who are at a similar score. This is why I feel that - for CIC to make up the target numbers CRS has to drop and even 450 is not sustainable. Worldwide, people study mostly upto Bachelors and are able to reach 440s at most, despite having age advantage.

I know today’s draw wont bring an ITA for profiles below 455-458 but still the excitement and nervousness has set in and within few hours, we all will be refreshing the page crazily!

As you mentioned, you are working with Big 4 Audit firm, How did you proceed with the reference letters.

I am with Deloitte at Gurgaon and getting a reference letter here is a very tedious task.

Why dont you try for masters or two one year pg diploma, that would increase your score drastically as masters with clb-9 or 10 adds extra point.

Sailing in the same boat mate, although with a CRS of 448. I too will lose points in Dec, but I feel we would have made it by then. Stay put!

I am currently residing in Gurgaon and working here and my permanent address and the address in the Passport is Dehradun.

Do I have to disclose my temporary address to PSK. I mean I can tell them I am residing in Dehradun and the PCC will be issued in a day.

Is it mandatory to disclose them the current residential address.?

So you will be applying in the Dehradun PSK, right?
IF that is the case, it should not be a problem unless and until they send your file for police verification. Because in police verification you have to declare all the address and locations you have been in the last 5 years... For my police verification they asked me details for last 10 years. its totally upto the police station you are visiting.

And what if, I dont declare last 10 years locations and a PCC is issued to me. Is anything about this written on PCC and will non disclosure of the locations in the PCC will have any repercussions on my PR?

You have been misguided mate. IELTS and ECA is a bare minimum to create an EE profile.

Oh, thank you for your wise enlightenment...

You can create an EE profile, and just enter a simple ECA or IELTS info, and then when you receive your report, just update the profile.
IELTS and ECA sections remain updatable, even after ITA.

Yes as far as i know you should not, as it asks whether we have completed the ECA or not and asks the reference#.

You can tick "Yes", enter a basic reference number, submit and enter the pool, and then update the ECA info once you receive the report.
