Please, if you do not like a question, please do not bother answering it because it will never come out right.
You may think a question is frivolous. Someday you will ask a question and I might think in my perspective that it is frivolous. That does not mean I should put down your question.
@YULIA-2016 Unfortunately, this is not correct answer.
@goa123 Yes, you can apply for one parent when they are still together but you cannot exclude them from the family size calculation. You apply for one parent and other would be the dependent. Primary applicant can always choose to say that dependent is not accompanying ( this would require to provide the reason).
I wonder whether anyone could enlighten me as to whether there is any problem with the sponsor signing and dating IMM 1344 after the principle applicant as we are planning for my mother to print and sign (where appropriate) the forms in the UK before couriering to me in Canada to sign after - we are storing them in dropbox. Hope this makes sense. Many thanks in advance for your knowledgeable advice.

Thanks for your reply but it's the date I'm worried about as my mother will be dating the form before I do - so when you say make sure they are dated all the same do you mean I should date all the forms before I send them and my mother shouldn't date any of them?
