Quick question - my wife recently got a visa rejection for a tourist visa to US. But this is a recent thing, 5 months after submitting AOR. Should this information be updated to CPC through web form?

Anybody please assist?

Today received the mail for passport request, but my online application has not been updated yet. What is the next steps and how many days does it take to get the passport back. I hold an Indian passport and reside in US.

Congrats. Do let us know when you submit photographs, it'll be beneficial to know where to get photos taken for COPR in US.

To answer your question it should take about 2 weeks from the time you submit. You may use FedEx or UPS overnight delivery. I'm assuming the V.O is Ottawa.

I just had a question concerning what you have previously mentioned. When I applied for Express Entry I was planning on living in Toronto. However, I ended up getting accepted at a university in Montreal and now I will be living in Quebec for at least a year. Regardless of where I land first, will I encounter any issues?

Edit: I have also applied for a CAQ and student visa just in case I didn't get the COPR in time before my program starts in August.

After you enter Canada as a PR, you can move to any part of Canada, this is your constitutional right.

However, if you enter with an intent to live in QC, and you do not have a nomination from QC, that is not allowed.

If you enter on a study permit, there should not be any issues.

yes. i applied when 25 days away; now I am 04 days away and I will have a fair sense of what's going on at just about the right time.

IRCC twitted that no calls or questions will be answered on Thursday but it will be back in normal on Friday. Hope they send out PPRs on Friday so we won't bother to ask them questions

It was just questions on twitter and possibly their support form which was having issues. Phone lines were functioning normally (I called and got updated)

I can't see specifically why this is the case but your score as assessed and your score as submitted don't match which is probably why it's under review

Did you apply showing sibiling resident in Canada. I think they may have been unable to establish sibiling relationship
