Does anyone know how long it takes from the moment that they check your medicals and ask to re-do them or just extend them?

I have my medicals passed and then it changed to:
You do not need a medical exam. We will send you a message if this changes.

Hello everyone! Next Friday I will complete my 9th month waiting for my PR. I just called cic and a lady told me that they are still checking if I am eligible under Canadian experience class. And that they require an additional background check. Should I be worried? I have a quite simple process, I turned 18 here and only travel to US and UK. I graduated from college here in Canada and I've been working in one company for already 3 years. All my documents are from Canada. Last month, an agent told me that everything was fine and that they are just taking more time, but today's call totally scared me

I will reach 9 months next week!! I just received my second set of notes which is basically a duplicate of the first the only thing changed is that they noted each time I called CIC lol. No one has touched my file since November!!!!
