Hey guys I got decision made after a ghost update yesterday here is my timeline:

PA Country: Jamaica

Application received: February 20th
AOR: March 26th
Biometric request: March 26th
Background check in process: March 26th
Sponsor approval: March 27th
Medical request: March 27th
Biometric done: March 28th
Medical done: April 1st
File transferred: April 4th to Mississauga
Medical exam passed: April 14th
Decision Made: May 23rd

Just waiting on passport request and prearrival email

anyone else recieved requests for everything except medical? my file was transferred and i still havent had medical request, i belive its the last step in my application before the wait for ppr

Anyone know how to update mailing address of the PA? I’m in Canada currently but leaving tomorrow to go back to the UK to give biometrics and I’ll be there until the process is complete so I’ll need to update my address. Just not sure how to do this.

Sometimes they will wait till nearer the end of your process as the medical is only valid for 1 year. So they may wait so they know the medical is valid. I’m still waiting for mine too!

Thanks, just worried something may be wrong with the app and that they were waiting to request medicals because of that

I know the feeling. Until we have PPR we will always be worrying, but I’m sure everything is good. Remember it is a 12 month process, just some people get lucky and get theirs pretty quick. I’m sure we will have more news soon !

If i travel outside Canada for extended period of time, will that affect my family sponsorship application..!!.

i am a PR in Canada by the way and our application is outland sponsorship application type.

Ecas shows "Decision Made" ; no further details. GC Key provides a 'Pre-arrival services' letter. No PPR yet. Fingers crossed really now

File Transferred to CPC-M: 15 April
Ghost update: 22 May
PPR: 23 May

Yes. PRs must be inside Canada to sponsor.
