Hi, it took them around 2weeks to fix the name on there system. however the visa office in the Philippines considered the name on the letter of my husband and we just let them know that IRCC will fix them soon. That's why they allowed him to proceed with biometrics. Try calling IRCC again just to get update from name correction and if they can send a letter again-in your case.

I spoke to ircc agent now they Said I am sending an email to the responsible desk to take action and fix the name and u just have to wait . Also she told me there’s two steps for background check which means criminality is in progress and security hasn’t started yet is this good ?
