Hi Nav,

If surname field is blank in your Mom's passport you should put given name in surname and keep given name as blank in form.
That's what i did and it was accepted in 2018.

they send notifications by email and attach files in My CIC
Call them to know VO

I called 1-888-242-2100 and they advised that once the account is linked, all notifications go directly to My CIC and not to the email address on file. Is this a change in their procedures?

In terms of VO, they said my file is still in Mississauga, but they said the files would be transferred to an overseas office for parents who do not reside in Canada (to complete some verification). I see most people on the tracker have Ottawa - do most of the sponsored parents live in Canada?

Hi guys,
I am approved for the sponsor and my Parents PR file is been transferred to Ottawa. Would it be advisable to get PCC done in advance from the home country? My parents medical should still be active since the super visa days (April 2018)..
Also do we submit the original PCC to Ottawa along with the file# if I wish to submit early?

Is there a web form dedicated to Family Class sponsership. I tried using the IRC Web form and it doesnt have that option of Permanent Residence with Family Class to select ?

Also, What is the current AOR processing going on ? I got my AOR on 5th January 2019. Since then no update in online account or email.

I believe that page contains important piece of information like Father, mother and Spouse 's name. Sp should be sent .

At least no harm in sending

Hello there , I'm a newbee here so thanks in advance for helping and apologies if I haven't asked my concern at correct place.

1. My Parents had their PR in 2007 which they had renounce in 2012 as circumstances didn't allow them to move to Canada at the time.
2. Now as I live in Canada from past 10 years I had apply for them in PGP program and got my invitation.
3. Meanwhile once their visitor visa to Canada got rejected as they haven't submitted their confirmation of renunciation for their Visitor visa application in 2014.

So my questions are as per below.

• I will have to specify in application that their Visitor visa got rejected and put "YES" for that question and would that impact badly in their application ?
• Since they had renounce their PR , would that also affect for this PGP application ?
• Do I need to put any supporting documents/ explanation for any of the above ? If yes then what would that be?
