Hi guys! I have a CRS of 441. I thought, considering last year draws, I could get an ITA... But reading messages I am currently loosing hope!

Do you know if anything changed between previous years and current one? Why is the CRA so high? Is there any reason?

And considering CRS 441, do you think I should forget about this for the current year?

Only trend is see an increase in CRS cutoff since last two years. 2017 - 430+, 2018 - 440+ and now it's 450+
Could be due to the fact that there are a lot of people applying.

You may want to try your luck with a higher degree. I too was in the same situation last year, 438 to 433 and finally 473 with a Master's degree.

Guys, we never know if CIC would surprise us with a second draw this week. There have been instances in the past witnessing the same scenario. Or the next draw could take place on Monday onwards.

Let's see what God has planned for us. Whatever happens, simply accept it. Move with the flow amd keep yourselves motivated.

Basically, whenever regular draw happens, it is a combination of Federal Skilled Worker Program, Federal Skilled Trades Program, Canadian Experience Class and Provincial Nominee Program. Today's draw is for only Candidates from the Federal Skilled Trades Program and they were eligible for this round of invitations.

Rest of the program will be covered in the next week draw.

it depends on the CRS of the people in the pool ; the more people have 450+ scores, the more the score goes up

Draw left me stunned. Hopefully, this will trigger a start of something better like B2B draws and increase in the draw size. Marking myself here.

Plans of increased intake by CIC looked such a positive move but this is turning out to be a real test of the patience and grit.
