The thing is the birth certificate has Urdu and English , same information. Do I need to still translate it ? Just making sure. I am not sure how strict CIC is about this.

You don't have to as it has English translation in the same certificate

My brother and sister they are both married and more than 22 years old and they are already in canada. I understand they are not dependents but I was just confused with the form it says fill out background declaration for 18 years or older

Hello guys I am going to sponsor my parents from India and my dad gives thumb impression and he don’t sign the documents does he need to notarized the documents or without notarized only thumb impression will be fine. Any help will be appreciated.

Hello Friends,
I am really confused between sponsor and principal applicant. I know sponsor is me and principal applicant is my mother from India. Is that correct?
Because when I went to guide (detailed instruction), it shows all the forms like 'Background' are belonging to principal applicant where I filled the information.
I have below question, please answer them, it will help me a lot. Thanks.

1) Can you please let me know which forms belong to whom?
2) How do you guys send photos, is it of both sponsor and principal applicant? Do you receive courier from your home country? In my case India? Do
3) I tell my mother to courier or ship me birth certificate notarized and translated as well as photos? Are these 2 things only I need from her?

Yes. And write the reason of refusal in the appropriate section in the form

Oooppps... form 5669 I mentioned question 4 (d)= "No" for my parents.

I forget to mention that . Long time ago visitor Visa was refused for my parents and it was approve few month after.

How to correct mistake now?. I already submitted application.

I sent in application on 26 April by Canada priority post and received on 27 Apr signed by Sci Schleiber. However untill today my ecas is still not showing, my friend sent in application on May 7 by Purolator and it was signed by Keit, status shown as delivered to alternative address and today she can see status on ecas!!!!! Something is broken and completely unfair in intake, it is not first in first serve as we can see here! People sent in much later already can see status on ecas!

I used Canada Post Express too and signed by exactly same person as you but ecas already shown status. I am sure multiple people receive the apps and they cannot enter at same time, if you are bottom of the pile he picked then wait a bit more

Yes, you are Sponsor and your mother is Principal Applicant.
1) IMM5771 Document checklist has two sections, Form List(for Sponsor), Form List (Principal Applicant)
2) Photos are only required for principal applicants and dependants. Not for the sponsor. Yes, you will get all completed and signed forms and required documents by courier.
3) You forgot about the photocopy of her passport. it is your birth certificate Translated, Photos, Copy of her passport. Marriage certificate only if she is married.

Please go through IMM5771 Document checklist to ensure you are not missing anything.

Rather than troubleshooting and spending time. Please go to the library and fill the form with the barcode. Or you can take help of friends by using their computer.

My app received by SCI, ecas shown receievd on 30. Sent by Canada post too. Could not link app yet, every time got message could not find application. So annoying
