Perfect, well since your processing time is much shorter than mine (14 weeks *kill me*) I am really curious to see if they are actually going to respect it and if maybe they will process your visa before the deadline

Not gonna lie I am a bit nervous too now since my application has been submitted for almost 5 weeks and it just shows processing background check. I should mention that other people that applied from KSA did get their permits within 5-6 weeks so I'm hoping that the cic processing time is held true in our case as well.

I start classes in August 1st so I am lowkey freaking out.

Student visas are processed in the country of origin and not in Canada, correct?

Mine says 6 weeks processing time and i am now on the 5th week. So hopefully i will get the result pretty soon. Fingers crossed

I applied April 17th. I had to wait until I heard back from the university and apply for the CAQ (some kind of acceptance letter from Quebec that took a month to process). The worst part is that when I applied, the processing time was 11 weeks, the next day it jumped to 14. So I don't what's going to happen at this point.

I think they are still processing march applications. I read on other threads that those who applied 1st week of march got their approval on the last week of april.

Applied from the UK and submitted our form online. We sent a web form last Tuesday and they got back to us today to let us know my partners study visa is in London. Not too sure if that means it’s even been processed yet.

It as above processing time . Since you have sent webform and get respond you just need to be patience till they respond to you because right now we can't do anything or less if you can visit the nearest Visa office where you did your biomentric you can talk to one of there staff and they can help you out to make it more faster within a week you will surly get your respond.

They said they transferred our web form to the London office because that is where our file is located at the moment. They advised we should also get in contact with the office too. We are going to call tomorrow.

Same boat. In UK submitted biometrics Feb 18th. Nothing since. Let me know if contacting them by phone helps! Good luck.
