they wont start processing the applications untill after june28. They will be processed after they weed out complete 20k applications. iam very surprised to read this some of you have your EcAs updated without even having the official AOR sent . Bit surprising.
Why they won't start processing applications? Doesn't sound wise to creat a back log for themselves. If someone is number 19999 there is no reason not to start processing it....

Maybe you filled in the old form dear. The IMM5669 does not ask for travel history. Question 6 is bunch of yes/no questions for background check. So please dont confuse people here.
Thats why the letter that u have to attach with application has got the barcode. That barcode will help the officer to know as to when the form was submitted and which application is to be processed first and last. Its all gonna be done according to a timeline .
I am just about to send application for my parents. They are currently in India and will arrive here in Aug on Visitor Visa for atleast 6 months. If they get their biometrics and PCC requested while in Canada, how to arrange these without going back to India?
Yes if a person is not on track to meet the requirements for 2019 they should apply but get a 2nd job or work more hours. When you encourage people to continue applying when they have not met LICO for 2016-2028 that is no longer an option.

I'm sponsoring my mom. She is widowed, my sister is married and 25 year's old. So my mom doesn't have to fill additional dependents form (IMM008DEP) right ?

I just think that whoever said that they see ECAS ready is trying to ruffle some feathers on the thread and make people desperate, because as you said ECAS is only updated when the AOR is coming
Honestly, anyone could say “I got AOR a day after application received” (which is highly unlikely given other immigration procedures) but without proof it’s all words in the end

Sincerely request you to go to the website and download the latest form(s). You are referring to a really old version of IMM5669 (2012- Dec version) where Question 6 was Yes/No.
The latest form version for IMM5669 is 2018-Nov where Q6 is indeed related to Personal History and Q4 relates to the Yes/No.
Yes people who don’t meet the income requirements for 2016, 2017 and 2018 shouldn’t have applied in the first place and shouldn’t be encouraged to take a chance especially when they are thousands of dollars off LICO. Sure many share my opinion.
Unfortunately this was an attempt to taunt me after I asked @nayr69sg to stop encouraging people who don’t meet the LICO for 2016/2017/2018 from continuing with their application. Their view is why not take a chance and just lose the application money where as I view it as a waste of taxpayer dollars and a delay for a real applicant.
Hey canuck78, don't be disappointed or upset as all of us those who know or are familiar with the process know that IRCC will not tolerate a cent shortage of the required income. But, there is a big but, people who is short of income and are very determine to try. They will submit their application with or without our comments. They did not come here to ask for our opinion but to gain our sympathy of what they are doing hence we can just empathy with them. I hope, after they get rejected, they should learn the lesson and be careful next time. Think of it like people who speeding, obviously knowing that is a violation of the law and risk being ticketed yet they still do. Will this waste police's time? Yes, it sure does but that is exactly the fine (or fees in the IRCC case) are there for.
During the pre-submission time (before Jan 28), I remember myself and lots of seniors in this sub forum have replied/warned "No, you should not" to all threads that asked something like "should I applied if I was just $100 short...", or "I just want to sponsor my mother as my father for sure did not want to go..." so and so... Apparently, it did not work and would not work now either.
Sometime, you just can't help it. What to do?
My birth certificate doesn't have my name but has my mom and dad's names. I am providing copies of educational certificates and GOI issued cards as supporting docs.
