You can ask Eligibility, Criminality and Security Status...

I did ask it but they said they can't share as my file is being processed outside Canada. That's why I am confirming if you called CIC Canada from India? And did they share details even though your visa office is New Delhi?

As far as I know, Your file move to NDVO - New Delhi, CIC (Canada) can't share any information with you (till final decision). Might be you have to contact New Delhi Office.

Actually i applied through agent so i never called cic

I have also applied thru agent but called cic last week. The agent was nice and she told me that the eligibility is met and everything else is in progress. The delay is due to the backlog at Ottawa VO and also mentioned that I can check back with them after mid of may in case of no updates from them till then..my AOR Oct is 3rd..

This waiting is just getting even more painful once you crossed 6 months.

The weeks just keep going by like a flash but Ottawa is not showing any sign of giving us PPR.

We just have to keep on hoping

I'm so jealous of everyone who's AOR date is after mine and have progress. The system frustrates me. I've been working here for three years already under a NAFTA permit. You would think it would be easier for me to get processed...but that's not how it works. It's all random. And I know this. I'm so impatient.
