That's very strange, I'm 27 December applicant and I have done the medical exam and passed 1 month ago.

I called them this morning, she said there was no update on my file in regards to a medical request. Just that I have to wait. She did say I could do the medical if I wanted to change my conditions on my work permit, and then send those medical results for my PR app.

Did you check GC key or get any notification? Also congratulations! This must give you so much relief. At least it was not much more than 3 months

*EDIT*the second OWP application changed to reviewing eligibility. Is this good??

Thanks! Yeah, it was such a relief. But, I bet if I didn't call, they will not care taking a 2nd look at my application, until maybe AIP.

And yeah, that's a good sign. Hopefully, you'll get approved tomorrow. Fingers crossed.

Yeah you're right. It's too bad it's handled the way it is and mistakes like that are made.

Background started last week and got requested fingerprint from RCMP today. Dec 5 applicant.

Eligibility doesnt "start" until hours before actual approval. You need to ask for any notes and when it was accessed.

My eligibility hasn't started on my OWP but there is a note from Feb 28th saying "further evaluation" or something. I want to call back and see if there is any recent note

I called them today and the agent told me there isn’t any note on my both applications.
Half of the BGC has been done and have passed too.which is good to hear.
The agent said the processing time for OWP is 111 days.the review of eligibility hasn’t started yet though

That's what I mean.

You said you were in the same status as me but they aren't the same. My app was received by CIC 3 months ago; January 31st
