Where I come from, they say "what goes up must SURELY come down. "
Well, I got both Side DM today and also Landing interview. ( I am estatic to say the least)
I am a grown man, but I shared tears of joy. It has been a struggle, years full of pains and sadness. (sometimes immigration can take a toll on you )
But I am very happy today that I got this email ,and icing on the cake, my landing is scheduled for my birthday, May 22nd.
My heart is full guys.

Thank you to all my sept forum and those we have reached out to each other in DM, im most grateful.
I hope we all get the positive news and positive life we set out for our selves and family.

How long does it take to get landing letter after getting DM in Ontario?

Hi guys, so, as I can see, the average time to receive the interview letter from the Etobicoke office is around 15-20 days (not business days) after the DM letter (or DM on ECAS??).

When I called CIC they said wait 10 weeks...

Please correct me if I'm wrong Thanks!

Etobicoke is usually pretty fast, people usually get their DM letters between 2-3 weeks. I got mine in 3 weeks. You should send them an email, it usually works and helps speed up the process.

When we submit additional documents via the web forum, do we get a confirmation email? How do we know for sure they've got them other then calling in to ask?

I know it eventually gets updated on GCKey, but this is my second time sending docs in and GCKey does say 'we have received the additional documents your provided' but that's an update from my first submission.

Include your application number, UCI number, applicant name, address, include your DM and AIP letter in the email and let them know that you haven't received your landing interview letter and its been a while since you last received your DM letter. Tell them when you last received your DM letter, they'll make them feel more urgent if its beyond 3 weeks. Feel free to let them know that you have a potential job offer waiting. Hope this helps!

P.S. I had submitted a document in mid-January via the webforum and had gotten a confirmation e-mail of my submission immediately. However on Friday I submitted 7 webforms with attachments but didn't get an acknowledgement for any one of them.

Hi @bushra1122, I guess there is no other way... Maybe wait until tomorrow evening since you submitted them all on Friday and if you don't hear anything then submit another (8th) webform inquiring about the status of the previous 7?

i finished my landing interview yesterday successfully got confirmation of permanent residency. Thanks all who helped for some important informations.... Good luck to all who are still waiting... wish you all get your PR very soon.
