Just Got passport with Visa stamp. It took just 8 Days for entire process. Bravo NDVO team. Thank God. wish Good luck to all the members

Congratulations, how soon after the biometric submission did you get the validiy letter? Is there a standard time as to when can we expect the validity letter so that review of eligibility can start?

It varies. For our case we completed biometric on 27 Mar 2019 through VFS. Got the biometric validity letter on16 April.
You may look at previous month's timeline to get an estimate.

Thanks Brother. No time frame for that. yes i got validation letter exactly one day later of acknowledgement letter.

Check ur status on cic website. Vfs is nothing other a document collector and deliverer. For any update on ur application check online on cic

Yes that is the exact message i got, could be that the biometrics have reached VAC New Delhi and the processing may begin today 23rd April considering the easter long weekend here in Canada.

I am a PR holder currently residing in Canada and am planning to apply visitor visa applications for my parents. @Bryanna and others please help with below query.

Which of these would be a better option - Adding my parents' application into my CIC account or creating a new CIC account with my father as the principal applicant and my mother as the secondary one? Are there any pros / cons with one option versus the other?
