I was able to speak to an agent last week. I was told eligibility, criminality, background check, security passed, medical on file for review. My file is at the Etobicoke office. I used the same medical result which i did on the 17th April 2018 to apply earlier last year under the FSW class, and it was passed eventually, although it took a while (perhaps it was subjected to a review then as well). My FSW application at the time was refused in September 2018 because i did not have sufficient proof of funds for my family size. So I applied after getting 1 year experience in October 2018 under the CEC class, using the same medical results which was still valid for over 6 months at the time. Although my spouse has a health condition, which we disclosed when we went for the medical exam earlier in April 2018. So it wasn't like we hid anything from CIC, as a matter of fact, they requested my wife redo her medicals in June 2018, before we were later passed after about 4 months in September, 2018. And like I said, we passed the medical eventually. The medical is expiring today (1 year since April 17, 2018), but CIC has not requested for any re-medical either for me or my spouse. Perhaps CIC will extend our medical result automatically. I was told a decision will be communicated on or before 8th May, 2019. So i sincerely pray it goes well with the medical review, so we can get our PPR, especially because this is a medical result that have been adjudged passed earlier by CIC. I pray it is just a final review and nothing more than that. I really hope for the best. AOR is October 2nd 2018, CEC class (inland)

Guys don’t loose your hope and forget about the GC key account info as they don’t update properly. Mine was still shows we are reviewing your eligibility requirements And BG check not started but i called them last week and the agent told me that eligibility is met only BG and security left

Actually I have also call today cic and they have informed me my criminality in process and security and eligibility hasn't started even and it's been since November. I don't know your status was also similar to mine and you straight get the golden email??

Mine was showing we are reviewing whether you meet the eligibility requirements and BG wasn’t started these information i got it from automated phone call as I applied through consultant he didn’t gv access of my online account. So after 6 months i called them and ask about the delay of my application they said everything looks good and eligibility is met the only thing left is security and criminality but he send the reminder to the visa office about the time period of my application and after one week of the call i got the PPR mail directly to my mail account. They are working on the applications but there’s backlog that’s why but don’t worry you will get your soon
