I just received my second set of GCMS notes...and my file hasn't been touched since I requested my first set of notes on 2018/10/18

Don’t be, if your file had been touched you would have gotten PPR.

From what I gathered, they only update GCMS once the Officer is done with the review. They don’t update the progress. So there’s no way to tell of your file is currently being worked on or not.

GCMS report says:

Name:: Review Required - Proof of funds

What does Review Required - Proof of funds mean? Is there something I can do about it?

You need to post the 2nd page and the last 4-5 pages of the notes in order for us to know the exact reason of review required.

Often they are processed together, you shouldn't be worried.

This is a standard response I guess:

"Please be informed that your application is currently in queue for review by an officer. Unfortunately, we are not able to provide you with a date on which your file will be reviewed.
Please be assured that you will be contacted immediately should further information be required or regarding the next steps in your file."

Received today from CPC Ottawa. Asked them about the status via email over a week ago.

My dear fellow August 2018 applicants. By the grace of the almighty I have got my ppr. It came in my cic account as a request letter. So don’t get confused if u don’t get it in an email . Thi confusion killed some of my excitement so don’t be the victim of this confusion
